Terms of Service

These are the basic terms for projects between Pixelhive Studio ("we", "us") and you ("the client"). Every project also gets a custom written quote/proposal that takes priority over this page if anything conflicts.

1. Our services

We design and develop websites — landing pages, business sites, restaurant sites, and SaaS landing pages. We offer three packages (Starter, Standard, Custom) with the inclusions listed on the pricing page. Custom projects are scoped individually.

2. Quotes & agreements

Every project starts with a free 30-minute discovery call. Afterwards we send a written quote with deliverables, timeline, and total price. Work begins only after you accept the quote in writing (email or WhatsApp counts) and pay the upfront deposit.

3. Payments

• 50% upfront to begin the project.
• 50% on launch before the live site is handed over.
• Custom projects may be split into 3–4 milestone payments — agreed in the quote.
• Payments accepted via UPI, bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS), or PayPal.
• A proper invoice is issued for each payment.

4. Timelines

We commit to delivery dates in your quote. The clock starts when we receive your deposit and all the content/assets we've requested (text, photos, logo, etc). If content is delayed, the timeline shifts by the same amount.

5. Revisions

Up to two rounds of design revisions are included in every package. Each round includes consolidated feedback (we'll ask you to gather all your changes before sending). Additional revisions are billed at ₹800/hour.

6. Content & assets

You're responsible for providing the text, images, logo, and any other content for the site. We can help write or source these for an additional fee — we'll let you know upfront.

7. Ownership

Once final payment is received, the website code and design are yours. You can host it anywhere, modify it, or hand it over to another developer freely. We may include a small "Built by Pixelhive" link in the footer; you can ask us to remove it for a one-time fee.

8. Hosting & domain

We don't host websites ourselves. We'll help you set up a domain and free hosting (Netlify or Vercel are our usual recommendations). Domain and hosting fees are paid by you, directly to those providers.

9. Post-launch support

Standard and Custom packages include 30 days of free tweaks after launch — small fixes, content updates, minor adjustments. After that, ongoing support is available on retainer or hourly. Bug fixes related to our original work are always free.

10. Cancellation

Either party can cancel a project at any time with written notice. If you cancel after work has started, the upfront deposit is non-refundable (it covers time already spent). If we cancel for any reason on our end, we refund any payment for work not yet delivered.

11. Liability

We do our best work, but we can't guarantee specific business outcomes (traffic, leads, sales). Our total liability for any project is capped at the total amount you've paid us for that project.

12. Confidentiality

Anything you share with us about your business is confidential. We won't share your project details or trade secrets with anyone. We do reserve the right to feature finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to (in writing, before launch).

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be resolved through good-faith conversation first, then mediation if needed.
